In 1967, Cumberland's mailed our first Northwest Trappers Supply catalog.  It was small.  So was our distribution.  But we love this industry and wanted to provide quality products at fair prices.  We firmly believe that each customer is our most important customer and deserves to be treated with respect.  Obviously our customers believed that too, and our business has grown.  Throughout the years, trappers all over North America have looked forward to receiving our annual catalogs.

During the summer of 1999 we took our popular printed catalog online. Word quickly spread.  Satisfied customers told their friends and business associates.  Now customers throughout the world purchase their trapline supplies from Cumberland's. Their continued patronage has made us the preferred source of trapping supplies. We don't take that responsibility lightly.  Nor do we expect you to shop with us just because so many other people do.  We fully expect to earn your business the same way we always have; with quality service and fair prices.

Shopping our On-line Catalog is very similar to real-world shopping--but even easier and more convenient. It is safe, simple, secure and available 24 hours per day. 

Shopping Cart

Just like a physical store, we provide you with a shopping cart. Either browse our various categories or use our convenient search engine. Once you've found an item you want, simply enter the quantity and click the button marked "Add to Cart." Your selection will be added to your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping (or to check the contents of your shopping cart), click on "CHECK OUT". You will find it conveniently located on each catalog page.

Wish List

In addition to your Shopping Cart you have available a second area called the Wish List.  Use this area to place items you may wish to purchase later.  You can easily move items back and forth between your Shopping Cart and your Wish List.  You may also e-mail that list to other people who might want to purchase a gift on your behalf.

Checking Out

During the Check Out process you will review the contents of your shopping cart. Feel free to adjust quantities or even delete items you no longer want. You can move items either to or from your wish list.  You can also return to the catalog and select additional items. 

When you are satisfied with your selection, simply press the button marked "Checkout".

Shipping Charges

Cumberland's uses a shipping table for orders sent to locations in the United States.  Domestic orders are usually shipped via UPS.  Orders delivered outside of the United States are billed for actual shipping costs.  They are typically sent via US Parcel Post to keep the cost down.  

If you prefer a different form of shipment, please use the comments to let us know.  We will do our best to accommodate your needs.  If you would like to know the actual shipping costs before we send your order, note that in the comments as well. 

Secure Ordering

The final portion of the Check Out process is handled via our Secure Server. Cumberland's uses 128 bit encryption to protect our customers. You can verify that you're connected to the secure server by the KEY or LOCK icon on your web browser status bar.  This is where you enter your shipping and billing information. There is also a place for any comments regarding your order or shipment.

Our SSL system is provided by CyberSharks.com, our web hosting partner. All SSL certificate information will reflect www.CyberSharks.com information.

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

In the event you are still uncomfortable about using your Credit Card online, feel free to select the "phone or fax" option. It will prepare a printable copy of your order which you can use to either phone or fax your order to us.

Once your order has been placed you will receive a conformation e-mail containing the billing and shipping information as well as the products ordered. For security reasons the confirmation e-mail will not contain any credit card information.
